Pray for Arkansas

UPDATE (5/7): The First Baptist Church in West Memphis is collecting donations for Arkansas tornado victims. Items needed are:

  • Bottled Water
  • First Aid Supplies
  • Cleaning Items
  • Mops
  • Buckets
  • Tarps
  • Rakes
  • Large Garbage Bags
  • Duct Tape
  • Batteries
  • Flashlights
  • Towels
  • Hand-held Can Openers
  • Oanned Food
  • Blankets
  • Baby Formula
  • Diapers
  • Baby wipes
  • Toiletry Items
  • Personal Hygiene Items
  • Hand Sanitizer
  • Work Gloves

You can drop off your donations Monday–Friday 8am-5pm and Saturday 9am-2pm by May 23rd.

UPDATE (5/6): The Forrest City Church of God will travel to Vilonia on Saturday, May 10, to help with relief and clean-up efforts. If you would like to help, donations of canned food, bottled water, cleaning supplies, paper goods, baby wipes & diapers, clothes, Walmart gift cards, etc., may be dropped off at the Forrest City Chamber office until 4:00pm Thursday, May 8.

After the tornado that devastated several cities in and around Faulkner County, folks have been asking how they can help. Here are two ways:

  1. First United Methodist Church in West Memphis is collecting several items through May 5. Please bring any of these items to the church office by Monday morning for donation:
    • Tarps
    • Diapers
    • Wipes
    • Gift Cards
    • Dog Food
    • Toiletry/Personal Items
    • First Aid Kits
  2. Consider making a monetary donation to the Salvation Army.
